Dallas Braden used all his anger towards Alex Rodriguez to accomplish the ultimate fete- he pitched the 19th perfect game in Major League Baseball history yesterday.
I guess he's extended his 15 minutes of fame a tad longer than A-Rod expected.
When asked about Braden's historical day, A-Rod quipped, "Something I've learned throughout my career is that it's best to be recognized for the things you do on the field. Good for him. Even better, he beat the Rays."
Of course A-Rod made it all about him.
If I'm Alex, I'm cursing myself out, knowing that my arrogance single- handily turned this kid's career around.
