Steve Phillips in Hot Water

What is it lately with on-air talent getting down with their staff?

Today's NY Post has an exclusive story about former Mets GM and current ESPN analyst, Steve Phillips.

The dirty details include:

*Phillips said he first met 22-year-old Brooke Hundley on July 13 in St. Louis when she was working as an assistant for remote-game productions for ESPN.

*Phillips claims that "over a three-week span, I had a total of three sexual encounters with her."

*Brooke did not take being dumped lying down (haha). She went postal and started calling Phillips' wife, Marni, to taunt her about the affair. She even accidentally smashed her car into a stone column while speeding away from the Phillips' home after leaving a letter.

*Brooke also friended Phillips' 16-year-old son on Facebook, and flirted with him to get information about the family.

*In the letter, Brooke gives blow-by-blow details of the affair, even mentioning "a big birthmark on his crotch . . . and one on his left inner thigh, so you know I'm not being fake."

"I have extreme concerns about the health and safety of my kids and myself," Phillips said in a police statement, adding that the woman became "obsessive and delusional" after he dumped her. (Ya think?)

This isn't the first time Phillips has been caught cheating. While still working for the Mets, Phillips took a leave of absence after admitting to having sex with a team employee, Rosa Rodriguez.

Marni Phillips is now suing her husband, with whom she had four sons with.

My only question is, what has taken her this long? Seems to me that Steve has always been a pig.
